BRIEF PROFILE

Sylvia is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and a legal amenability specialist. She holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree from The Catholic University of Eastern Africa. She also holds a Master of Arts in Development, Diplomacy and International Security from Daystar University. Before her admission, she served as a law pupil at the firm of Manyonge Wanyama & Associates Advocates. She joined civil service at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, host county affairs and legal directorate. She is also a fully-fledged member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.

She has specialized in the areas of legal audits, legislative drafting, constitutional law, transaction advisory, risk evaluation and mitigation, negotiation, public sector reform and privatization.

Sylvia has previously acted for the Council of Governors, County Governments of Kisii, Nairobi, Nyamira, Trans-Nzoia in complex legal matters.
